At the CSU annual general meeting, Mayor Haberl reports on the expansion of renewable energies in Taufkirchen.

Taufkirchen

– Mayor Stefan Haberl focused on the expansion of renewable energies at the Taufkirchen CSU annual general meeting in his report on current challenges in municipal politics.

A circle of pioneers has already met, and wind power has not been ruled out, he informed the 30 party members present at the Hopf inn in Kienraching.

It's a strategy for the future.

An overall concept will be drawn up for this, with the support of a specialist office, with a large participation process and many experts.

Good preparatory work has already been done with the municipal utilities and their district heating network, which already supply municipal properties.

Others want to be increasingly equipped with photovoltaic systems in the future, such as the middle school, appropriate precautions have already been taken.

The middle school and a large community house on the Gutswiese are other topics that would require a great deal of effort, because one is not immune to external influences.

In addition, the increasing need for childcare and health care, in particular the lack of general practitioners, are tasks that need to be solved, said the mayor.

There are already interested parties for the planned family doctor's practice in the daycare center.

When expanding the cycle path network through the district, four paths were included, Haberl continued: Babing-Hörgersdorf, Moosen-Johannrettenbach, Taufkirchen-Aham and Taufkirchen-Eldering.

Former mayor and deputy district administrator Franz Hofstetter provided information on the topics of mobility, health, education and care at district level.

The Erding and Dorfen clinics would be further developed and expanded, for example a urology department would be created in Erding or the operating theaters would be updated.

"In the last ten years, the number of full-time employees in Erding has increased from 650 to almost 800."

There was only a brief report on the work of the CSU local association from Chairman and Deputy Mayor Christoph Puschmann.

In addition to the annual general meeting in summer, the long-promised candidate and helper festival for the 2020 local elections could be made up for in autumn 2021.

Now the flood of appointments is unchecked again as before Corona.

Today the face-to-face program is starting again, explained Puschmann and announced three dates: the folk festival regulars’ table will take place on July 10 at 11 a.m., in mid-September there will be a larger event with a speaker, and on December 7 there will be an Advent service with the women’s union in the Castle chapel held with regulars' table.

The chairman was pleased with the current 164 members, including four trial memberships.

There have also been new additions this year.

"We hope that we can maintain the level."

Treasurer Andreas Schäffner reported an increase of 2935 euros.

Membership fees of 13,436 euros and donations of 3,150 euros contrasted with expenses of 13,650 euros.

The largest item: the transfer of 11,602 euros from the membership fees.

"God forgive you for putting up with us for so long," said Puschnamm to Ferdinand Haider from Hubenstein.

He was honored for 65 years of party membership.

CSU member Konrad Weiher asked whether it was legal for construction companies to withdraw from their middle school contracts or whether they had gone broke.

This possibility exists if the agreed prices are no longer tenable, Haberl replied.

The community will then try to find new companies as quickly as possible so as not to jeopardize the grants of 14 million euros.
