A mother from Texas, let her two-year-old son play on her cellphone and learned in the fun and hard way that you should be careful about giving your cell phone to kids.
While playing with the device, the son accidentally ordered 31 servings of a McDonald's cheeseburger even though the family did not like the dish at all.
The amusing incident, which has gone very viral on the net, happened to Kelsey Golden, a media marketing woman who worked on the year-end book of the school where she is employed.
In a conversation with CNN, she said: "I transferred pictures to the school graduation book from my cellphone to a computer when my son, Barrett, started pulling the device away from me. He likes to look at himself reflected on his screen. But this time Barrett not only looked at the device but played with it."
When her son was playing on the device, Kelsey did not notice that the DoorDash booking app was open.
The boy, through her, ordered a particularly large lunch for his family.
"I was continuing to work when I suddenly received a message that my order would be delayed a bit. It confused me because this time I did not order anything for my boys at school but I prepared a meal for them," Kelsey said.
Meanwhile she was playing with Barrett in the yard while a delivery company car stopped near the house and the driver chased a particularly huge order of McDonald's burgers.
"I thought it was a mistake, that the driver got to the wrong address, but then I checked my cellphone and saw that Barrett actually ordered 31 macchis. The thing is, these are burgers we do not like at all," she described the moments of astonishment.
In order not to waste the food, Kelsey posted a message on her Facebook page and offered the food for free to anyone who demanded it.
"A pregnant woman came who asked for 6 servings, I gave her no judgment at all, I also distributed to my neighbors. In total the food cost $ 91.7 because Barrett was also generous and gave a 25 percent tip" Kelsey laughs adding, "I published the story to make people smile a little in the world our".
Meanwhile, the story has gone very viral in the US with thousands of shares. Barrett himself was invited to the local McDonald's restaurant and received lots of gifts from the company including a photo shoot with the team.
