The Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Navy, Admiral Alireza Tanksiri, announced that there are many new warships currently under construction.
"There are many ships that are now being manufactured by benefiting from local expertise, including the ships of the Martyr Soleimani class and the ship of the martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, which has offensive and defensive capabilities, which has a length of 47 meters," Tangsiri said in a statement carried by the Iranian Fars news agency today.
Tansiri had recently announced the joining of 3 new warships to the Revolutionary Guards' naval forces, manufactured by the Ministry of Defense, the Revolutionary Guards, and knowledge companies.
