(ANSA) - ANCONA, 22 MAY - 'Gratteri Day' tomorrow 23 May in Ancona, on the occasion of the Day of Legality, which will be entirely dedicated to the Attorney of the Republic of Catanzaro, with the awarding of an honorary doctorate by the Polytechnic University of Marche and citizenship fee by the Municipality.


   This last ceremony will be held at 18:00 at Palazzo degliAnziani, in the presence of the civil and military authorities invited by the mayor Valeria Mancinelli.

In the morning, at 9, a meeting of the prosecutor Nicola Gratteri with the students is scheduled, organized by the Ancona Colle Guasco Lions Club, in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Engineering.

The institutional greetings will be followed by the introduction by the lawyer Laura Versace, the speech by Gratteri and the students' questions.


   In the afternoon at 15:30 at the Faculty of Economics 'GiorgioFuà' the awarding of an honorary doctorate in Management and Law to the prosecutor Gratteri.

The rector Gian Luca Gregori will open the ceremony, followed by the Laudatiopart of prof.

Caterina Lucarelli, coordinator of the PhD in Management and Law.

Gratteri will hold a Lectio Magistralis entitled "Our fight against the 'Ndrangheta".

The reason for the award mentions "applied research activity in the fields of Law and Economics, through its investigations aimed at combating organized crime and international drug trafficking, achieving brilliant results in terms of restoring legality and at the same time theoretical research ,
