Today, the Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushawah, discussed with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi ways to enhance cooperation in the cultural fields between Syria and the Sultanate of Oman.
The Oman News Agency reported that during the meeting, which took place this morning in the Omani capital, Muscat, they discussed the existing cultural relations between the two countries, ways of holding mutual art exhibitions and the issue of antiquities restoration, as the two sides expressed their aspiration to increase the pace of existing cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Jamal bin Hassan al-Mousawi, Secretary-General of the Omani National Museum, Idris Maya, Syria's ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, a number of officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the delegation accompanying Minister Mushawah.
The Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushawah, and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Omani National Museum, Dr. Mona bint Fahd Al Said, participated yesterday in the opening of the exhibition (Syria, Cradle of Civilizations) in the Omani capital, Muscat, amid an official and popular presence.
