Al-Hasakah, SANA- It has emerged during the “Sawa Cat Talent” competition organized by the Al-Mawadda Charitable Association and the “Sawa Youth” project.

During the (Sawa Kat Talent) competition organized by the Al-Mawadda Charitable Society and the (Sawa Shabab) project, promising young and artistic talents in various artistic, literary and cultural fields that need more care and attention emerged.

The competition, which will be held on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah over two days, is supervised by the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor and supported by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The first day's participation was distinguished by presenting poetic, theatrical, artistic works, drawing, singing and playing, in addition to motivational dialogues.

And the director of the "Sawa Youth" project, Ayham Al-Hamdush, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the aim of the competition is to nurture young talents in various fields and artistic and cultural creations, where models of talent will be presented directly before a specialized jury and in front of the public.

He pointed out that 15 people participated in the competition, and the jury will select the most prominent 5 contestants, and then their posts will be published on the Sawa Youth project page on the social networking site (Facebook) to be voted on by the followers, and the first three winners will be honored and sponsored.

Theatrical director Ismail Khalaf, who participated in the jury, explained the importance of holding the competition and its role in highlighting the talents and creativity of young people in various fields of arts and literature and working to adopt, nurture and refine these talents, especially in the theatrical aspect, which constantly needs new blood that feeds the various types of theaters (nationalism). students and workers) and others.

In turn, Director of Culture Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed confirmed that the Directorate extends a helping hand to every community initiative presented by associations and institutions that encourage talent development, especially for the youth category who suffered greatly during the war years. Show what promising young talents Al-Hasakah possesses that need care and support in order to polish and advance their way professionally.

Today’s posts won the audience’s admiration in a remarkable way, including the poetic participation of the young Jana Sultan, who recited the poem (In Jerusalem) by the Palestinian poet Tamim Al-Barghouti, while the participant, Ruba Othman, gave a stimulating dialogue directly to the audience, in which she talks about the obstacles facing young people and ways to overcome them and enhance self-confidence to achieve goals.
