Rheinmetall boss disappeared without a trace for days – the group supplies tanks to the Ukraine

According to a report, the managing director of the German armaments company Rheinmetall was missing for several days.
His mysterious disappearance raises questions.
Kassel/Düsseldorf - In the Ukraine war, Germany promised arms supplies to the country, which was badly hit by the Russian invasion.
Rheinmetall is a major manufacturer in the armaments industry.
The company has offered to supply 88 used but refurbished Leopard 1 main battle tanks and 100 Marder infantry fighting vehicles.
Rheinmetall boss missing for several days
Now a report by
Bild
is making headlines, according to which Rheinmetall Managing Director Thorsten Kutz disappeared without a trace for several days last week.
According to the newspaper report, the manager did not appear on the agreed appointments last Thursday – without a cancellation.
He couldn't be reached by phone either, his cell phone was off.
The company therefore filed a missing persons report with the police.
After all, something could have happened to him, but Kutz is unlikely to be very popular with the Russian authorities.
In addition, the protection of the constitution classifies him according to the
image
information as a secret bearer.

Rheinmetall: armament boss was found after four days
Four days after his disappearance, Kutz was discovered by a police patrol, the newspaper reports.
He was near the Kassel exhibition halls, was apparently drunk and needed medical treatment.
In between, he had withdrawn money from an ATM, as recordings from surveillance cameras show.
It is not known whether he just wanted a break and went into hiding voluntarily, or whether there could be something more serious behind it.
