The behavior of Frankfurt's Mayor Peter Feldmann after the Europa League victory of the SBU remains controversial.

New details about Eintracht officials who were not allowed on the balcony are becoming known.

Frankfurt – It was a meeting of opposites.

On the one hand: Eintracht Frankfurt, Europa League winners, up to 200,000 fans celebrated their heroes frenetically after their return.

First at the motorcade from Frankfurt Airport to the Römerberg, then at the victory celebration on the town hall balcony.

On the other side: Peter Feldmann.

The public prosecutor's office is currently investigating suspicion of corruption against the Frankfurt mayor, and his supporters have recently become fewer and fewer.

As has now become known, at the SGE's victory celebration on the Römerberg there was not only displeasure with the trophy, which OB Feldmann snatched directly from Sebastian Rode's hands, and player names that he reworded in the style of a football video game without a license, such as fnp .de reported.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Motorcade was apparently facing cancellation

While the Eintracht entourage was still in Seville after the victory over Glasgow Rangers in the Europa League final, the SBU car parade through Frankfurt was apparently about to be canceled.

And: Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche and chairman of the supervisory board Philip Holzer were not allowed on the balcony, as reported by picture and Hessenschau.

First of all, a letter banning the motorcade fluttered into the house of those responsible for Eintracht in Seville.

Ultimately, according to a report in the Bild newspaper, an agreement was reached with the city of Frankfurt to use only 15 instead of 30 convertibles and to transport the employees to a double-decker bus.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Krösche and Holzer are not allowed on the balcony because of pyrotechnics

When they arrived at the Römerberg, Krösche and Holzer had to content themselves with looking out onto the balcony instead of standing there themselves.

After the celebration, several media reported about an announcement by Mayor Feldmann in the town hall that only he and the team with coach Oliver Glasner were allowed on the balcony.

In this context, the farce surrounding Krösche and Holzer casts another shadow over Feldmann's behavior around the celebrations of Eintracht Frankfurt after winning the Europa League.

Officially, the city of Frankfurt justifies the decision with a fire alarm, which is said to have been triggered because the Eintracht fans ignited pyrotechnics on the Römerberg.

Therefore, the entrances to the balcony had to be closed in the meantime, said Tarkan Akman, head of the main office at the city of Frankfurt.

It was planned to let all players, coaches and officials out on the balcony, Akman told Hessenschau.

Meanwhile Feldmann snatched the trophy from the hands of a visibly puzzled Sebastian Rode on the way to the balcony.

The Eintracht captain said the picture later;

"I did not understand everything.

It's great that he invited us, but it might have been better if he had taken a step back." (esa)
