The new game will feature at launch more than 150 different characters from Marvel's multiverse (more characters will be released in future updates) and players must build their own package and find different and effective combinations.
The different characters will include attack and defense points and unlike other card games that contain only 16 special cards, Marvel Snap will include 12 special cards to facilitate the process of building the players' pack.

What further sets Marvel Snap apart from other games in the card genre are the fast spins of just three minutes, and the fact that both players play simultaneously without having to wait for each contestant to finish his turn.
The game is in charge of the new developer Second Dinner, founded by designer and creator Ben Brod, a former employee of Blizzard who also worked on the popular card game Hartstone, and it seems that Marvel Snap draws some inspiration from it and is designed to slightly refine the formula.

The Marvel Snap beta has opened for registration in a limited number of countries around the world (unfortunately Israel was not included in the list), and although the exact date of the game has not yet been announced, it is expected to be released in 2022 for Android and iOS devices on mobile and PC.
