Storms are approaching Bavaria: hail of up to "four centimeters" cannot be ruled out - "tornado risk"

After Franconia in particular had to deal with severe storms at the weekend, the weather forecast for Monday looks dangerous again.
Munich – Heavy rain, hail and hurricane gusts: Thunderstorms raged over Bavaria on Friday.
In Franconia in particular, they left a trail of devastation in their wake.
In Enderndorf, 14 people were injured when a hut collapsed.
After the weather relaxed on Saturday and the sun showed up in many places, thunderstorms are expected to move to Bavaria again on Monday night.
In some regions, thunderstorms are to be expected again in the afternoon.
Weather in Bavaria: There will be thunderstorms in these regions on Monday
"A new thunderstorm low is approaching Germany," says meteorologist Dominik Jung from
wetter.net
in his latest forecast.
Again it moves from France to Germany.
Some of the thunderstorms have potential for severe weather due to "heavy rain, gusts of wind and hail".
The temperature values are "sweltering" at 20 to 28 degrees.
According to the weather map, Bayern will only really hit it in the afternoon.

The storm potential is particularly high in Lower and Middle Franconia, in the foothills of the Alps and in Swabia.

The thunderstorms subside in the evening, but then move on to Upper Franconia, Upper Bavaria and Lower Bavaria.
Munich is not entirely spared either.
According to Jung, "heavy downpours" must also be expected there.

DWD does not rule out "hail up to four centimeters".
The forecast for Monday from the German Weather Service (DWD) says:
"On Monday from the afternoon from Württemberg and out of the Alps, there will be thunderstorms in some areas.
Local storms caused by heavy rain of up to 40 l/sqm, hurricane-force gusts of up to 110 km/h and hail of up to four centimeters.”

Wetter.de meteorologist Paul Heger does not even rule out renewed tornadoes in his forecast: "Individual violent thunderstorms or super cells will be able to form, which will also increase the risk of tornadoes." The DWD also warned of tornadoes for Franconia on Friday.
According to the expert, heavy rainfall of up to 60 liters in one hour could fall within the thunderstorm cells within a very short time.
On Tuesday it will be mostly sunny again in Bavaria.
