The Iraqi forces eliminated five ISIS terrorists with pre-emptive air strikes and security operations carried out in Salah al-Din and Anbar provinces.
And the Iraqi Security Media Cell stated in a statement today, transmitted by Alsumaria News, that the security services, under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, continue their qualitative and preemptive operations, as the Iraqi Air Force carried out two air strikes in the Salah al-Din Operations Sector, which led to the elimination of two ISIS terrorists after they were spotted inside a vehicle in North Lake Tharthar area near the Sukaryat Bridge.
The statement added that the Air Force's aviation carried out an air strike in the Tharthar desert, killing a third terrorist, while the security forces found a car containing explosive materials.
In a later statement, the cell stated that, “two ISIS suicide bombers were also eliminated north of the lake, who were wearing explosive belts, after clashes with them, indicating that a large tunnel was found containing a number of explosive devices, in addition to finding a house used by ISIS terrorists.” to hide those packages.
