South Korea recorded less than 20,000 infections for the first time in six days, amid government efforts to return to pre-pandemic normal.
Yonhap quoted the Korean Agency for Disease Control and Prevention as saying that 19,298 new infections were recorded, including 24 imported cases, bringing the total injuries to 17,957,697, while the total deaths amounted to 23,965 deaths after 54 new deaths were recorded.
