The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa organized today two catering seizures against the owners of two bakeries for violating the weight of a bundle of bread, and they were fined more than 3 million Syrian pounds.
The Director of Internal Trade, Dr. Yahya Abdullah, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the elements of consumer protection organized two seizures against the owners of Al-Waleed bakeries in the city of Daraa and Wadi Al-Dahab in Eastern Ghariya, for violating the production of non-conforming bread, and the owners of Al-Yacoub bakeries in the town of Al-Ghariya Al-Gharbia and Al-Jammaz in the town of Al-Taybeh, for violating the administrative instructions related to the dates the work.
Abdullah confirmed that consumer protection patrols follow the reality of bakeries to monitor any defect, with a focus on the quality of the loaf and adherence to the weight.
