The Military and Civil Administration of Kherson city announced the killing of three people and wounding of others as a result of the Ukrainian forces' shelling of the village of Belozerka.
Russia Today website quoted the administration as saying in a statement yesterday, "The Kyiv authorities, as a result of their defeat in Mariupol and on other fronts, are trying to take revenge on civilians in areas outside their control. Its forces carried out an attack on the village of Belozerka in Kherson, which led to the killing of three civilians and wounding of ten others. .
Russian forces have almost completely taken control of Kherson in southern Ukraine during their own military operation in Ukraine.
