Warngau – Several incidents that required police intervention occurred at the boys' festival in Warngau.
In the night from Friday, May 20th to Saturday, May 21st, there were several incidents with police operations at the boys' festival in Warngau, as reported by the Holzkirchen Police Inspectorate.
Among other things, a 20-year-old from Warngau climbed onto the roof of a police vehicle for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
When officers got out of the car, the young man tried to run away.
"He was therefore detained and had to be brought to the ground with immediate force," the police said.
"The young man put up a lot of resistance."
Lenggrieser with almost 2.5 per thousand
In the end, he was found to have an alcohol level of more than 1.5 per mille.
After officers established his identity, the man was banned from the festival grounds.
He is also expected to be charged with resisting law enforcement officials.
A fine of up to three years' imprisonment can be imposed as a penalty.
In another case, an 18-year-old Lenggrieser grabbed a young woman's intimate area under her skirt and insulted her on a sexual basis.
The Lenggrieser was also sent off.
Since the accused did not comply and aggressively tried to get back into the marquee, he also had to be tied up with immediate force and taken to the police station.
The Lenggrieser had an alcohol content of almost 2.5 per thousand.
Police controls more in Warngau
The 18-year-old is now facing charges of resisting law enforcement officials, as well as sexual harassment and insults on a sexual basis.
“Despite the festivities that are now permitted again under the Infection Protection Act, the police are asking you to comply with all regulations and to ensure a civilized process,” it continues.
"Due to the incidents on Saturday night, the festival is now being monitored with an increased police presence."
