7 operatives of the extremist Nazi Donbass Battalion surrender their weapons in the Lugansk People's Republic.
Today, RIA Novosti news agency reported that the extremist leader of the battalion, Yuri Zakopts, born in 1996, laid down his weapon and surrendered, along with the rest of the battalion's members, to the forces of the People's Republic.
Last Friday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu revealed that about 2,500 Nazi extremists besieged at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol had surrendered.
