A video game console, Pokémon cards, a basketball hoop... A somewhat special room opens this Monday, May 22, in the five-star Sofitel le Scribe Opéra Paris hotel, in the 9th arrondissement.
Decorated like Presnel Kimpembe's childhood bedroom, it offers an immersion in the football player's universe.
Around the bed, many objects recall the childhood of the central defender of Paris Saint-Germain and the France team.
Among the clothes hanging in the wardrobe, there is, in addition to a child-size PSG jersey, a kimono: before football, “the Colonel” practiced kung fu and karate.
On the shelf,
One Piece
manga and a collection of "J'aime Lire" cohabit with a model of the Parc des Princes and a Beyblade arena.
A hi-fi system sits in the fireplace, in the center of the room.
It doesn't work, too bad!
A few rap albums are piled up next: Rohff, Booba or his group Lunatic.
On the bedside table, a PSP portable console (which works) with Fifa 07 and 08 games.

Posters of Ronaldo and Jay-Jay Okocha
Next to the trophies is a portrait of the French player which will be offered to each occupant of the room.

This universe would not be faithful without the many references to football which already occupied a prominent place in the life of the world champion, a native of Val-d'Oise: posters of Ronaldo (the Brazilian) and the Nigerian Jay-Jay Okocha, balls, football boots, framed jerseys, sports bag in the colors of the Parisian club... And several trophies and medals received as a teenager by Kimpembe during international tournaments with his training club.
Next to these is a portrait of “Presko”.
Each child (or adult...) who stays in the hotel room will leave with a copy of this framed portrait.
The room, with an area of nearly 25 square meters with bathroom and WC, can accommodate a second bed on request.
It communicates with a master bedroom, decorated like the other rooms of the hotel.
It is not possible to book the child's room without the second.
From 650 euros per night.
Other hotels in the Accor group, sponsor of PSG, are opening a room dedicated to a club player on May 23, to be booked for the summer of 2022 on its site.
They are located in the city of origin of the footballer concerned: Marquinhos at Pullman Sao Paulo, Brazil, Sergio Ramos at Ibis Style Santa Justa Sevilla, Spain, Gianluigi Donnarumma at Novotel Est Arechi in Salerno, Italy, and Achraf Hakimi at the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, Morocco.
