Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip organized a sit-in today, calling on the international community to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to hand over the bodies of Palestinian martyrs it is holding.
The Palestinian Ma'an News Agency stated that the participants in the sit-down organized by the Palestinian national forces in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip raised pictures of a number of martyrs whose bodies were being held, calling for pressure on the occupation to hand them over to their families for their funerals to their final resting place.
The occupation is holding the bodies of 356 martyrs, most of them from the West Bank, including 55 bodies of martyrs from the Gaza Strip, and 9 martyrs who rose inside the occupation's prisons, the last of whom was the body of the martyr Daoud Al-Zubaidi.
Yesterday, the Palestinians launched a campaign to demand the return of the bodies of the martyrs, under the title "We want our children."
