Daraa City Council launched a wide cleaning campaign for the city's streets and squares that will continue until the end of this week.
The head of Daraa City Council, Engineer Amin Al-Omari, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the aim of the campaign, which continues until the late evening hours, is to maintain public hygiene and remove the effects of water pollution that occurred in the past period, pointing out that the campaign includes cleaning, isolating and removing remnants of dirt and dust and the removal of dry weeds. From the sides of the streets, bisects, and central islands, to avoid fires.
He added that the campaign started from the popular market in the airport corniche towards the housing roundabout, to move to other streets and squares sequentially, calling on citizens to cooperate and adhere to the places and times of littering to preserve the aesthetic view.
