There were many honors for the Eichengrün shooters in Karlsdorf (from left): Franz-Josef Obermaier, Leonhard Krieg, Georg Grundner, Wilhelm Ertl, Hans Spötzl, Michael Mössler, Christian Krieg, Richard Ganghofer, Alexander Numberger, Helmut Maier, Angelika Huber, Rainer Streu, Markus Maurer, Otto Huber, Bernhard Obermaier, Anton Reischenbeck, Anton Huber and Willy Huber.

Eichengrün Karlsdorf honors Otto Huber and several other loyal and dedicated members.

Karlsdorf – Numerous members of the Karlsdorfer Eichengrün-Schützen were honored.

"A lot has accumulated in recent years," said rifle champion Franz-Josef Obermaier.

At the annual general meeting, together with his deputy Angelika Huber, he was able to present a whole series of certificates and badges of honour.

Otto Huber received the badge of honor for 70 years with the Bavarian Sports Shooting Association (BSSB).

Georg Grundner has been a member for 60 years (honorary certificate).

Leonhard Krieg, Richard Ganghofer, Lothar Haunolder and Albert Scheiel have been there for 50 years.

Helmut Maier, Anton Reischenbeck, Angelika Huber, Johann Weizenbeck, Johann Käsmeier and Max Faltlhauser were honored for 40 years of loyalty.

And Christian Krieg, Willy Huber, Rainer Streu, Markus Maurer, Bernhard Obermaier, Michael Mössler, Alexander Numberger, Tobias Maier, Christoph Obkirchner, Markus Käsmeier and Alois Eicher have been members of the BSSB for 25 years.

Numerous honorary certificates were also presented for special merits.

Hans Spötzl, Alexander Numberger and Angelika Huber were awarded the Bronze Medal of the Schützengau Erding in honor of and recognition of the special services they have rendered to the marksmen in Gau Erding.

Spötzl is involved in youth work and has been a youth sports leader for many years.

Numberger has been a sports director on the board for years, and he is also the air pistol round competition manager in the Gau.

Huber has also been active in various functions on the board for many years, since 2018 as second rifle champion.

Wilhelm Ertl has been a member of the club's management for 37 years, 35 of which as secretary and since 2018 as second treasurer.

During the construction of the Schützenheim, he "conscientiously managed all funding applications so that the grants flowed reliably," said Obermaier before presenting him with the small badge of honour.

Anton Reischenbeck and Anton Huber received the Gold Flag Medal.

You have been active in the flag delegation since 1986 and 1987 respectively.

Marksman Obermaier was also honored: Huber pinned him with the BSSB's small badge of honor for his commitment to the board, which he has been a member of since 1988.

He has been a rifle champion since 2018, when he was still the second rifle champion he had planned the new rifle club building and is “as a municipal councilor always a reliable advocate of rifle sport”.

Sports directors Numberger and Spötzl also used the meeting to award marks of achievement to hard-working, active shooters.
