Biden had announced earlier during a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida that the United States would intervene militarily under the pretext of what he called "the defense of Taiwan."
On several occasions, China confirmed the readiness and readiness of its military to take all necessary measures to resolutely confront any provocation that undermines the country's core interests and destabilizes the Taiwan Strait.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry also recently reiterated that the (one China) principle represents the main pillar of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait, noting that despite Washington's declaration on several occasions that it does not support the so-called independence of Taiwan, it has not stopped selling arms to Taiwan and making official contacts. with her.
