Russia's permanent representative to the European Union, Vladimir Chizhov, warned against the bloc's efforts to withdraw Ukraine's grain stocks without caring about the fate of the Ukrainians themselves.
Chizhov said in an interview with Russia 24 channel today: The European Union is now taking all measures to withdraw grain stocks from the territory of Ukraine and it seems that he does not really think about what the inhabitants of this country themselves will eat next season and what they will be able to sow.
Chizhov considered this to reflect the selfish approach of the European Union and the collectivist West as a whole.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin considered that the collapse in the wheat market was caused by the sanctions and restrictions imposed by the West.
