District - Not only in road traffic, but also on the water there are rules of conduct that are repeatedly disregarded.
The water protection police in Starnberg repeatedly pay attention to these violations.
On Sunday, two boat drivers had to be complained about for not adhering to the applicable rules.
At around 3.40 p.m., a 48-year-old woman from Münsing was noticed because she did not keep the required distance from the shore with her electric boat near Ambach.
Instead of the required 300 meters, she drove just 60 meters away parallel to the east bank.
An hour earlier, the officials noticed a motorboat anchored in the Karpfenwinkel sanctuary.
The boatman, a 73-year-old from Starnberg, who was asleep in his boat when he was met, explained that the wind must have driven him into the sanctuary.
Both boat drivers are now subject to a fine, the amount of which is determined by the district office.
