In Lüdenscheid in North Rhine-Westphalia, a dispute at a fair ended fatally.
Young people probably shot at two pursuers and hit a bystander.
Lüdenscheid - A bystander was shot dead in a dispute between a group of young people and a man and his son.
After the fatal shot at a 40-year-old at a fair in Lüdenscheid, the homicide squad of the Hagen police hopes to track down the shooter with a public search.
The public prosecutor's office in Hagen announced on Monday (May 23) that video material was available showing the people involved.
The authorities wanted to publish this.
The investigation continued, emphasized the responsible prosecutor.
The homicide commission has already heard several witnesses.
However, there are currently no concrete suspects.

Fair dispute in NRW: bystanders will probably be shot by young people
The 40-year-old was standing at the fair in the northwest of the Sauerland on Saturday evening (May 21) at the exit of the festival area when the shots were fired.
Previously, there had been an argument between a 16-year-old and a group of six at the fair.
When the youth and his father wanted to confront the group, they fled.
According to the information, two of them fired shots from a blank gun and a live firearm while fleeing.
The 40-year-old victim was hit.
Police and prosecutors are now looking for information about the young men, who are estimated to be between 16 and 20 years old.
The victim, who succumbed to his injuries in hospital, is believed to have had no connection to the group of militants.
