The Minister of Defense also addressed Netanyahu: "I know that you did not play in Israel's defense even when you had a clear political interest" • Prime Minister Bennett:

Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, who is promoting the "Dimensions for Education" law, spoke today (Monday) at the opening of a blue-and-white faction meeting, urging Mansour Abbas and other coalition and opposition members to support the law:

He said: "Today we will put to a vote the Dimensions for Education Law. Over the last few days I have talked to many Knesset members, including the Likud. Everyone understands that the law should be supported. Everyone also supported it in the past. I call on them to do the right thing. The IDF fighters outside and above politics and not to turn the vote into a parade of shame for the State of Israel.

"I call on Netanyahu, without cynicism, you are a person who loves IDF soldiers, and I know that you did not play in Israel's security even when you had a clear political interest.

"I think this is exactly the place to continue on this line - to recover, and make the right decision," he said.

"In addition, I expect all members of the coalition to pass the law. I will not accept any element in the coalition from the vote. As I said before, coalitional discipline is not a luxury but a basic condition for our ability to govern and function."

Today, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett made a statement in which he referred to the bill: "The role of the opposition is to fight the government, not to fight our fighters; not to engage in petty politics."

Earlier in the day, Bennett referred to the "Dimensions for Studies" law on his Twitter page, tweeting: "I just met the great guys who have been leading the Dimensions for Studies legislation for a long time. "A hand against the warriors' law, prefers politics over the warriors. I am convinced that there will be a number of MKs with a Zionist conscience who are strong from a narrow political interest, who will at least be absent and then the law will pass. It belongs to our warriors."

This is completely and even agrees with the logic in question.

MK Shirim Yad against the Warriors Law,

prefers politics over the warriors.

I am convinced that there will be a number of MKs with a Zionist conscience who are strong from a narrow political interest, who will at least be absent and then the law will pass.

Deserves our warriors.

As you may recall, a demonstration took place outside the Knesset today of former IDF fighters who came to demand the passage of the law.

Students demonstrate outside the Knesset,

Were we wrong?
