Olympic medalist Linoy Ashram is in advanced negotiations with the Festigal production to join the show this coming Hanukkah.
If the parties reach an understanding, it will be the first time an Olympic athlete will participate in the Festigal, and not just by chance, but the first Israeli woman to bring the gold medal.
Ashram (23), an artistic gymnast, won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics last year, bringing great pride to us all.
She has since announced that she has decided to retire from professional sports.
