2022-05-23T19:35:02.699Z

To draw up the local intermunicipal urban plan, Grand Paris Seine Ouest organizes urban walks in order to collect the feelings

“Do you know what a PLUi is?

asks Valentine Becker, Deputy Director General of the Grand Paris Seine Ouest public territorial establishment (GPSO).

Unanswered, she launches into an explanation: “This is the local intermunicipal urban plan.

It is a document that is both strategic and operational, which will establish the construction rules to be respected throughout the territory”.

That day, a dozen people gathered under a blazing sun to take part in the urban walks organized by GPSO.

“For this first part of the diagnosis, we seek to associate the population to collect their feedback from the territory”, explains Camille Kertudo, director of studies at Codra, one of the study offices in charge of the PLUi.

After carrying out two surveys of the inhabitants of the eight municipalities (Boulogne-Billancourt, Chaville, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Marnes-la-Coquette, Meudon, Sèvres, Vanves and Ville-d'Avray) gathered in Grand Paris Seine Ouest, the he regional public establishment has embarked on the diagnostic phase of the PLUi by offering eight urban walks, accessible to all.

The last takes place this Wednesday, May 25, at 10 a.m.

“All contributions will be taken into account”

For that dedicated to Ile-de-France transport, the starting point was given at the RER C station in Meudon Val-Fleury.

Participants are quick to share their comments.

“The station is not at all highlighted, observes Marie-Laure, a resident of Boulogne.

It is true that it is under construction, but I think there could be a great architectural project.

Meudon, Wednesday May 18.

Accompanied by town planners, the inhabitants of the municipalities concerned were able to share their experience of the territory.

For the others, it is intermodality that needs to be improved.

"I find that the station is not very accessible and there is a lack of signage to know where to take the other modes of transport", analyzes Sonia, architect in the field of transport.

“Signage is not part of the PLUi, corrects Valentine Becker, but all contributions will be taken into account.

For example, with regard to transport, it is a competence of IDF Mobilités, but we will indicate in the PLUi our wish to extend line 12. "

A shutdown of the PLUi in 2024

After getting off the RER C, participants stop for a moment in front of Issy-Val-de-Seine station, in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

"As we are on very tall buildings, we don't know where the station is," says Maha, architect and urban planner.

One day, I discovered it by chance.

During the walk, the inhabitants of the eight municipalities can discuss with the town planners present.

“Here, we are on a very urban logic, with offices, the tertiary sector, analyzes Nicolaye Lamy, manager at Algoé, consulting firm for territorial strategy.

While in Chaville for example, the subject of another walk, the questions were much more oriented towards forest management, employment dynamics and personal services.

»

After the diagnostic phase, a sustainable planning and development project (PADD) will be drawn up, which will then be translated into the form of regulations, with a stoppage of the PLUi planned for 2024.
