On October 1, the new missions of pharmacies will come into force in France.
Pharmacists will be authorized to administer, deliver and prescribe 15 new vaccines (influenza, DTP, pertussis, papillomavirus, hepatitis A and B, rabies, etc.) and to screen for certain diseases.
In particular, they will be able to provide eligible patients with a colorectal cancer screening kit or perform urine test strips in the event of suspected cystitis.
The decree validating the new pharmaceutical agreement, signed between the unions of pharmacists, health insurance and complementary health, which ratifies these new missions, was published on April 10 in
the Official Journal
