Nations are often born in trials, and wars have accelerating effects on history.

Three months after the start of the Russian invasion, the conflict has already radically transformed Ukraine.

The war decided by Putin to put an end to Ukrainian independence which he considers to be a historical anomaly has helped to precipitate what he wanted to avoid.

It is about to sever the last ties, cultural, economic, political and even personal and family which still united the two countries.

And if the outcome of the conflict remains uncertain, it already looks like a war of independence of Ukraine, after which nothing will be as before.

The Russian invasion united the country around a national idea, which grew stronger in adversity.
