The inauguration was celebrated in May 2012, now we met for the tenth anniversary: the children's home Kleeblattl celebrates its birthday.

In the best weather, children, parents and educators celebrated on Friday in the garden of the facility.

Kranzberg –

With a record-breaking 31 degrees, the outdoor area of the Kleeblattl children's home was a real summer paradise.

There were cool drinks, cakes and snacks as well as a “barbecue area” for the parents and staff present, while the children were more enthusiastic about the bouncy castle.

The reason for the celebration was the tenth anniversary of the children's home.

"The weather was more than kind to us," said the parents' council Andreas Zelzer.

At the beginning of the festive afternoon, the children sang a welcome song.

Mayor Hermann Hammerl then spoke: "The inauguration took place in May ten years ago," said the community leader.

"Now I'm happy to be able to celebrate the tenth anniversary of this great institution with everyone present."

The children's home has been "a temporary home" for many young Kranzbergers over the past ten years.

Parents can leave their children with the competent and caring staff for up to nine hours a day with a clear conscience.

"My special praise goes to the children's home manager Heike Wörner, who masters every challenge," said Hammerl.

Despite the increased care requirements and the constantly new Corona regulations over the past two years, the employees of the house could “always be relied on”, as Hammerl emphasized.

Due to the increase in children, the team will even be enlarged: "I am happy to be able to send four new colleagues to you in the months up to September," announced the mayor, "It's nice to see that we are in Kranzberg have many families with many children.” Because:

"Children are our future".

The children's home absorbs a large part of the care offers in Kranzberg.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a daycare child, kindergarten child or after-school care child, the Kleeblattl has the right childcare offer for everyone.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The catering is also impressive: varied, seasonal and regional, fresh food is prepared here for the children every day.

Kindergarten manager Heike Wörner summed it up briefly at the opening of the afternoon: "Children, I don't want to leave you standing around in the heat any longer," said Wörner and kept her promise with the words: "Thank you for everything and have a nice party!"

Parents could chat together throughout the afternoon and cool off with cold drinks, while the children had fun on the playground and on the specially built bouncy castle.

After coffee and cake, the grill was thrown on and we ate together before the families, the furnishing team and all the guests made their way home in the late afternoon.
