The branch of the National Union of Syrian Students at Al-Baath University launched today the “first literary medical forum” at the Faculty of Medicine, which included medical, poetic and musical sections and will last for three days.
The head of the union branch at the university, Ali Hammadi, said in a statement to SANA reporter that holding the forum comes as part of a plan to activate the role of university youth in all fields, show their talents and support them, and provide everything necessary to upgrade those talents that accompany their university studies.
In turn, the head of the Culture Office in the Union branch, Kabi Ibrahim, pointed to the importance of youth forums, as they gather young people in them to present their most important creations. Students of medical colleges present medical courses supervised by their professors, in addition to literary and musical courses.
The student, Rawan Tafesh, presented a paragraph on gastroesophageal reflux disease, and considered that the forum constitutes an interactive scientific case in which the student exits from the state of receiving information to presenting the information in an interesting and easy way, while the student, George Luffon, indicated that the forum constitutes a state of beautiful scientific, literary, cultural and musical integration, pointing out that its paragraph Medical dealt with diseases that affect the teeth as a result of gastroesophageal reflux.
The student Sarah Abbas participated in the poetry segment, where she saw that the forum is important for students as it aims to show their multiple talents and contribute to social acquaintance.
The forum continues its activities in the colleges of health sciences and pharmacy at the university.
