Motorcyclist seriously injured: police are looking for witnesses to the accident

A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Sunday at 11.05 a.m. in an accident on district road 7 between Oberfischbach and Königsdorf.
The whole thing was triggered by the overtaking maneuver of a mobile home.
Oberfischbach/Königsdorf - According to the officials, an 83-year-old Lenggrieser drove with his mobile home on Sunday morning on the Töl 7 in the direction of Königsdorf.
In the area of the turn-off to Rimslrain, he overtook a group of cyclists, despite oncoming traffic.

An oncoming 40-year-old Romanian recognized the situation in time, but had to brake his car hard to avoid a collision.
A 69-year-old motorcyclist from Berg, driving behind him, noticed this too late and, due to the lack of a safe distance, drove into the Romanian's car, fell and was seriously injured.
Witness noted the number plate of the mobile home
The camper driver just drove on.
However, an attentive witness wrote down the number plate and shared it with the officers.
This is how the driver could be identified.
When the accident was recorded, it turned out that the Romanian driver was under the influence of alcohol.
The Alcoholomat showed a value of 1.4 per mil.

The total damage amounts to 5500 euros.
The Oberfischbach volunteer fire brigade was on site with 13 emergency services for about an hour and a half.
They blocked the street for the period and then cleaned it up.
Police are asking witnesses to the accident to come forward
