The government of New Zealand announced on Monday May 23 that it was going to send some thirty military instructors to the United Kingdom to train Ukrainian gunners there.

These New Zealand instructors will train Ukrainian soldiers in the use of 105mm L119 light guns.
Some 230 gunners will benefit from this training, which will last until the end of July.
New Zealand has already sent Hercules aircraft and military personnel to Europe for logistics and intelligence missions to help Ukraine defend against Russian invasion.
