In Nuremberg, police officers helped a family of geese across the street.
Facebook fans are delighted with the police officers' assistance.
Nuremberg – The geese look a little puzzled when suddenly a contingent of police officers and firefighters joins their walk through downtown Nuremberg.
Together, the officers rescue the animals, who are completely unaware of the danger of their trip.
After all, the three-headed geese family just wanted to waddle straight into the middle of a busy road.
This could have ended badly - if the animal-friendly emergency services hadn't been there.
How they help the geese across the crossing was captured by the Nuremberg officials in a photo and shared with the public on Facebook.
"We had to temporarily close the intersection so that the family could waddle safely across the street," says the report from the Central Franconia Police Inspectorate.
"In the end, they arrived safely and well protected in the city park and were able to put their quotes in a pond for refreshment."

The fact that the Central Franconian police have a particularly big heart for animals has been proven time and again: just a few days ago, the officers rescued a dog from a completely overheated car in Roth.
