The deputy in the Russian State Duma from the Crimea region, Mikhail Sheremet, warned the Ukrainians against President Vladimir Zelensky's tendency to dismantle Ukraine and give the western part of it to Poland, after realizing the inevitable collapse of the country.
Zelensky had earlier announced the signing of an agreement with Poland to facilitate border crossing between the two sides.
“Zelensky was fully aware of the inevitable collapse of Ukraine because the southeastern part was out of his control and therefore moved frantically towards the actual transfer of control of the western lands to Poland, which had long been planning to occupy these lands,” Shermitt said.
Shermitt warned the Polish leadership against reckless actions related to trying to prevent Russia from completing the disarmament and de-Nazification of Ukraine and said that "Poland, with its hatred of Russians and its support for neo-Nazis in Ukraine, endangers the whole European Union."
