The public prosecutor's office in Kiel has arrested two men who are suspected of having committed burglary in barracks as part of a gang.
This was announced by the authority.
Police forces attacked Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein on Sunday night.
According to SPIEGEL information, the two main suspects are soldiers.
They were therefore carrying knives with them during the access.
The district court in Kiel issued arrest warrants against both of them.
Immediately before the attack, the men apparently tried in vain to break into a Bundeswehr facility in Eckernförde.
According to SPIEGEL information, this was the naval base.
According to the information, both men planned to leave for Ukraine shortly to take part in the war against Russia.
A spokesman for the public prosecutor said the case was against ten suspects, four of whom were soldiers.
Since the beginning of the year, they are said to have "repeatedly broken into Bundeswehr facilities with varying participation" in order to steal equipment.
Raids in five states
Shortly after the access, searches were carried out at eight addresses in Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, Bremen and North Rhine-Westphalia on Sunday night.
"Extensive evidence was secured," said the spokesman from Kiel.
A search was also carried out at the address of one of the main suspects in Itzehoe.
The ordnance clearance service was in action, the investigators secured explosive devices, ammunition and weapons.
According to SPIEGEL findings, the accused is said to be a 20-year-old soldier who is stationed in Seedorf in Lower Saxony.

A total of at least five burglaries and one attempted burglary are attributed to the alleged gang.
What exactly was stolen is not yet known.
The Bundeswehr had confirmed investigations into a soldier from the 31st Parachute Regiment in Seedorf.
There was also a search there.
The investigations are supported “fully”.
