The fire in a high-rise building in Dietzenbach (Offenbach district) on Sunday evening (May 22) caused damage of 50,000 euros.
According to the police in Offenbach, there were no injuries.
The authority announced that it was investigating negligent arson, as reported by op-online.de.
The fire broke out on a balcony on the 15th floor for unknown reasons, and the flames spread to an apartment.
