Geretsried – At the end of November, the Sparkasse's new advice center will open on Egerlandstraße.
Around 70 guests came to the current topping-out ceremony.
"Our new building is a clear commitment to the Geretsried location," explained Renate Waßmer.
In her speech, the chairwoman of the Sparkasse recalled the year 1952. At that time, the Sparkasse opened the first payment point in Geretsried in a converted double garage on what is now Graslitzer Straße.
Around 26,000 people now live in the largest city in the district.
Reason enough for the savings bank to be represented there with two advice centers (Händelstrasse and Egerlandstrasse).
Board member Christian Spindler pointed out that the investment volume for the new building is around 15 million euros.
He hopes that the new advice center can be opened before the end of this year.
The Sparkasse team, which is currently still accommodated in an alternative quarter in the neighboring Puls G, will then have modern rooms available on two floors.
"Our customers can look forward to an inviting and regionally influenced atmosphere," said Spindler.
24 apartments ready for occupancy from January 2023 on Egerlandstrasse
The 24 apartments should be ready for occupancy in January 2023.
A total of around 1,770 square meters of rental space will be created.
520 square meters are available for the advice center.
The barrier-free two- to three-room apartments are between 60 and 120 square meters in size and can be easily reached via elevators.
"A photovoltaic system will be installed on the flat roof and the basic equipment for an e-car charging station will be provided for interested tenants in the underground car park," promised Spindler.
A total of 21 parking spaces are available in the underground car park.
Spindler thanked all the companies, planners and employees involved in the construction.
Site manager Markus Walter from HP Ingenieure GmbH did the same and also gave other figures.
Accordingly, more than 1,500 cubic meters of concrete, 500 tons of steel and 104 windows were used.
After the topping-out speech by chief construction manager Gerhard Niegel from the company Krämmel and guided tours through the new building, the guests - among them District Administrator Josef Niedermaier and Mayor Michael Müller - enjoyed meat and salad specialties prepared by the catering company Schmid-Bäck'.
