Two sexual assaults in the south of Nuremberg: the criminal police are asking for information

Two cases of sexual harassment were reported to the Nuremberg police on May 22nd.
The perpetrator descriptions read similarly.
The police are grateful for any information.
Nuremberg - In the night from Saturday (May 21) to Sunday and on Sunday evening (May 22) there were sexual assaults on two young women in the southern part of Nuremberg.
The police are asking for witnesses.
Nuremberg Südstadt early in the morning on May 22nd: Incident in Jahnstraße - rescue in an apartment building
The victim of the first incident was on her way home in Nuremberg around 4 a.m. (early Sunday morning) when she noticed that an unknown person was following her on Jahnstrasse.
In the area between the cross streets Schloßäckerstraße and Tunnelstraße, the man approached her and grabbed her crotch and chest.
The young woman was able to flee to an apartment building and was not physically injured.
The pursuer is described as follows: He was around 35 years old, around 175 cm tall and of strong build.
He wore a full beard and corresponded to an oriental type.
The man was dressed in dark clothing, the report said.
Nuremberg Südstadt on the evening of May 22nd: Incident in Gugelstrasse
In the second case, an unknown perpetrator spoke to a young woman on the evening of May 22 on Gugelstrasse (near the Schuckertstrasse tram stop) and asked her the time.
As the conversation progressed, the man got closer and closer to the victim, began to harass her and finally grabbed her chest over her clothing.
The young woman screamed for help and the stranger let her go when a passer-by (also unknown) ran past the scene.
The description of the wanted person is similar to the first: The man was estimated to be 30 years old, was around 175 cm tall and had dark, short hair.
He was wearing black pants, black shoes with a gold-colored emblem and a green T-shirt.

The permanent criminal service secured traces in both cases.
The specialist commissariat of the Nuremberg Criminal Police Department takes over the further investigations.
Officials are examining any connections between the two cases and asking for witnesses.
