A political source says that "the importance of the visit actually exists.
In a quick ten-month process that began with phone calls between Erdogan and Herzog, the two countries are beginning to bring relations back to normal.
It is not yet a question of returning ambassadors in full and it is not certain that there will be such a summary.
But the process is progressing. '
Later in the day, Chabushulu will visit the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, meet with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and visit the Yad Vashem website in Jerusalem.
The two will then make statements to the media.
Later, he will also meet with the Minister of Tourism, Yoel Rezbozov.
Before taking off back to his country, the Turkish Foreign Minister will visit the Temple Mount, around which there has been a great deal of interest and friction in recent days.
