A trial for child abuse in 148 cases began on Tuesday at Itzehoe District Court.
The public was excluded from the hearing before the indictment was read, said a court spokeswoman.

Itzehoe - He is said to have photographed and videoed these acts, the public prosecutor's office in Itzehoe said before the trial began.
In addition, the accused is said to have possessed child pornographic material from other children, the statement said.
The accused is said to be in custody in Itzehoe.
According to a court spokeswoman, a total of five hearing dates are planned for the process.
