Head of the Jerusalem Department in the Palestine Liberation Organization, Adnan Al-Husseini, stressed that the calls of the Israeli settlers to carry out large-scale incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City in occupied Jerusalem next Sunday require the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate action to stop the practices of the occupation and its settlers.

Al-Husseini explained in a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, that the practices of the occupation authorities in Jerusalem and all the Palestinian territories and the ongoing violations, as well as the calls to storm Al-Aqsa in large numbers next Sunday, confirm the occupation’s continuation in its plans to complete the operations of Judaizing the holy city, noting that the international community is satisfied with statements of condemnation. Denunciation regarding the Palestinian issue encourages the occupation to commit more crimes against the Palestinian people and their sanctities.

Al-Husseini called on the Palestinians to travel to Al-Aqsa Mosque to thwart the plans of the occupation and its settlers aimed at controlling and Judaizing the Temple Mount.

The Palestinian presidency confirmed that the settlers' calls to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque come within the framework of the open war waged by the occupation against the Palestinian people and their sanctities, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to stop its continuous aggression.
