An Iraqi security source reported today that a US base in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport was targeted by a drone.
Alsumaria news website quoted the source as saying that "the American Victoria base was targeted by a drone at dawn today... and as a result the sirens were activated, while no casualties were recorded as a result of the attack."
The American base (Victoria) has been subjected to more than one attack during the past months, as it was targeted by a number of Katyusha missiles on the fourth and 28th of last January, which led to material damage, and it was also attacked by drones on the second of the same month.
