After hours of confusion, the killings of the shooting in the city of Ovalde near San Antonio, Texas become clear.
Today (Tuesday) at noon there were reports that a situation of "active firing" was developing in the area of the majority elementary school in the town.
At first it was not clear how many casualties there were and whether the incident ended, nor was it clear where the shooting itself took place outside the school compound.
The students at the school were transferred to a nearby high school to be picked up by their families.
But a few hours later, the Ibisi network reported that at least two children, apparently from school, had died and that the death toll was expected to rise.
It is estimated that the death toll may reach 14.
CNN reports that there are 16 more injured.
The shooter also died in the incident, according to reports.
