Rayan’s mother, who lives in the village of Beit Doqqu, north of occupied Jerusalem, told SANA reporter: “I have not heard his voice since his hunger strike, and with the deterioration of his health, fear increases for him. He suffers from stomach problems and pain in muscles and joints, and he cannot move and moves in a wheelchair.. No He eats supplies and lives on water only,” indicating that her son suffers from a policy of deliberate medical neglect, despite the seriousness of his health condition. The occupation has kept him in a solitary cell for 32 days, and has not seen light or air, and two weeks ago the Israeli jailer prevented him from even taking a shower.
The condition of the prisoner’s mother, Rayan, is not different from the case of the prisoner’s family, Khalil Awawdeh, who suffers from the bitterness of pain and fear of losing him permanently, especially after his health condition entered the stage of extreme danger as a result of the continuous hunger strike for the 83rd day, rejecting the oppressive and aggressive policies of the occupation, as he insists on writing the epic of steadfastness and steadfastness to obtain his freedom.
Dalal Awawda, the wife of the captive Khalil, says that fears are increasing, especially as the occupation prevents him from visiting and cuts off any means to check on him, noting that the danger to his life is doubling daily, as he has lost sight and speech, and black blood spots appeared on his hands and feet, in addition to losing half of his weight and loss of movement ability, warning of The possibility of his death at any moment.
Awawda expressed her displeasure and anger at the international institutions' ignoring of his suffering and the prisoners inside the occupation prisons, who, as she says, have become mere numbers in pain, and no one from the international community pays attention to their suffering, even though they are fighting death.
As for the 9-year-old girl, Tulane Khalil Awawdeh, she also lives in a state of anticipation and fear for the life of her captive father. She does not leave an activity or a human rights institution without taking part in it, carrying hope to save her father’s life, while repeating the phrase “Save my father.. what are you waiting for.. that my father be martyred.. I want to be martyred.” My father is alive,” calling on all the free people of the world to stand in solidarity with her.
In turn, the spokesman for the Prisoners Club, Amjad Al-Najjar, confirmed that the occupation is committing an organized crime against the two prisoners, Awawda and Rayan, by deliberately practicing medical negligence against them with the aim of killing them.
Al-Najjar called for the internationalization of the prisoners’ issue and urgent international intervention to save their lives, especially the hunger strikers, the sick, women and children, pointing out that the mass activities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in support of the hunger strikers who wrote heroic epics will continue in the coming days to support them until they obtain their freedom from the dungeons of the occupation.
