A driver died in heavy rain.
His vehicle skidded at high speed and rolled over several times.
Seeg – Storms, some of them severe, are hitting large parts of Bavaria these days.
They come with hurricane-force gusts, hail and heavy rain - they caused major damage, especially in Füssen and the southern Ostallgäu.
On the morning of Tuesday, May 24, an accident occurred on Autobahn 7 near Seeg in Ostallgäu, which is also related to the thunderstorms.
A man was killed after his vehicle overturned several times.

On the morning of May 24, heavy rain fell in the Allgäu.
The cause of the accident cannot be explained by the precipitation alone: According to the police, the 37-year-old driver who died in the accident was probably driving too fast.
On the A7 near Seeg, his vehicle skidded and rolled over several times.

First responders rescued the initially unconscious and seriously injured man from the completely destroyed car.
The rescue workers who were called were unable to save the life of the 37-year-old, a police spokesman said.

Serious accident in bad weather in Bavaria: driver dies
According to the police press release, an expert will now clarify the exact cause of the accident.
The Autobahn 7 was completely closed in the direction of Füssen in the course of the accident and the subsequent clean-up work in the morning.
