Two days after the assassination of a Quds Force official in the heart of Tehran, Colonel Hassan Siad Houdai, thousands took to the streets of the capital as part of a mass funeral organized by the regime while chanting "Death to Israel" and shouting condemnation of the US.
Recall, the assassination was carried out in daylight.
The assassins arrived on motorcycles and fired five bullets at the colonel who was Qassem Suleimani's right hand man.
He was also reportedly involved in planning attacks against Israel and fighting in Syria and Iraq.

The commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Hassan Salami, and the commander of a code force in the Guards, Ismail Kani, were also present at the funeral, along with the thousands who stormed the cemetery in Tehran.
Salami warned that "the Iranian response to the threat and action against it will be difficult but it will be implemented only at the scheduled timing and circumstances."
He added: "There is no doubt that we will take revenge against our enemies."
