Daraa - Sana
The Daraa Education Directorate has completed all arrangements for the exams for the two general secondary certificates in all its branches and for basic education for the 2021-2022 session.
The Director of Education, Eng. Manhal Al-Amarin, said in a statement to SANA reporter that 34,151 male and female students are taking the exams for the general and basic secondary certificates, and they are distributed among 366 exam centers in the countryside and the city.
Al-Amarin confirmed that the directorate has prepared exam centers, distributed students between rural and city centers, circulated ministerial instructions, distributed cards to students, and allocated a health center for each exam.
In the same context, those concerned with the education sector discussed today the plan of the Directorate of Education and preparations for the secondary and basic certificate exams, where the Governor of Daraa, Eng. Louay Map, stressed the importance of ensuring the proper conduct of the exam process and ensuring the appropriate atmosphere for students.
The province's police chief, Brigadier General Ziyad Al-Mohammed, also indicated that all police units are in a state of complete readiness with regard to securing protection and guarding the exam centers and facilitating traffic, stressing the need to inform the police of any emergency.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Daraa branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Hussein Al-Rifai.
