Hong Kong's new crown pneumonia epidemic has eased. The Centre for Health Protection announced the list of confirmed buildings today (24th), showing that a total of 1,736 buildings had confirmed cases in the past 14 days.

Among the 18 districts, Yuen Long district is the most severely affected, with 161 buildings with confirmed cases, followed by Shatin with 160 buildings on the list.

As for the buildings with newly confirmed cases, the latest yesterday (23rd) reported that there were 67 buildings with confirmed cases, which was a further drop from the more than 80 buildings recorded in the past two days.

There are a number of luxury and middle-class housing estates in the newly reported buildings, including Yau Ma Tei Royal Gold ‧ Guofeng and Ho Man Tin Royal Dragon Residence.

In addition, one new confirmed case was reported in Sheung Shui Police Quarters, and two in Shui Chuen O Village in Sha Tin were on the list.

According to the list of confirmed buildings updated by the authorities today, a total of 1,736 buildings have had confirmed cases in the past 14 days.

Among the 18 districts, Yuen Long was the hardest hit area, with 161 buildings on the list, while Shatin ranked second among all districts with 160 buildings with confirmed cases within 14 days.

Kwun Tong has the third most confirmed cases, with 145 buildings.

In terms of new buildings with confirmed cases, the list was updated to May 23, and a total of 67 new buildings were reported, the lowest level this month.

On Hong Kong Island, a total of seven buildings in the Eastern District have newly reported confirmed cases, including 5 Fu King Gardens, Kornhill Gardens B, and 45 Heng Fa Village.

In addition, Wan Chai also has three new buildings on the list, involving Tai Ning Court, Shang Lun and Yee On Building.

In Kowloon, eight new buildings in Yau Tsim Mong reported confirmed cases, including The Camphora, 6 Royal Gold ‧ Guofeng, Hang Fook Building and 3 Chung Yin Gardens.

Kowloon City also has seven new buildings on the list, involving 2 Tung Hing Gardens, Ting On Building A and 1 Royal Dragon Residence.

In addition, there were also confirmed cases in four buildings in Sham Shui Po, including No. 36 Kinshine Lane, No. 11 Yiyiju, and Fu Lai House, Fu Cheong Estate.

In the east of the New Territories, eight buildings in Shatin have newly reported confirmed cases, involving 3 blocks in Phase 3 of Famous City and 6 blocks in Fubao Garden.
