The Syrian-Argentine Friendship Committee in the People's Assembly discussed with the President of the Federation of Arab American Institutions (VIA Arab Argentina) Ricardo Nasser and the accompanying delegation, ways to activate the Syrian-Argentine parliamentary relations.
Committee Chairman Faisal Jammoul stressed the importance of strengthening Syrian-Argentine relations in the interest of the two friendly peoples and countries, pointing to the unilateral coercive economic measures that Syria is subjected to and their negative repercussions on the Syrian people.
For his part, Nasser stressed the continuation of the Federation of (Via Arab Argentina) to work on conveying the true picture of what happened in Syria to the world public opinion and the efforts made to rebuild what was destroyed by the war in Syria.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Expatriates Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Ghassan Anjarini and Head of the Arab, Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Committee in the People's Assembly, Boutros Marjana.
